Domestic Solar
Panels Installation

The home is often one of the most significant assets you will invest in throughout your life. We ensure all solar technicians and installers are heavily vetted to ensure the wellbeing and safety of your valuable assets and loved ones.

We only use solar installation professionals and tradespeople that have been accredited by the Clean Energy Council (CEC). This also ensures that all products we install for our customers are eligible for government rebates.

CEC accredited installers

To gain CEC accreditation, each installer must successfully complete a range of training modules. Domestic Solar Panels installation professionals must then undergo further assessment to upgrade to full certification within a three month period.

After 12-months, the installer can then transition to the continuous professional renewal scheme. They must then complete 100-points of further training and development annually to maintain their accreditation.

These stringent regulations ensure consistency and quality of work Australia-wide, guaranteeing all solar power installations are safe, reliable and meet all state and federal Safe Work and quality assurance specifications and compliances.

Small scale renewable energy scheme (SRES)

The CEC accredited installers partners with FormBay, allowing our contractors to complete STCs (Small-scale technology certificate) digitally on-site and immediately submit it to the Clean Energy Council (CEC).

An STC’s is valuable as they allow solar energy system owners to trade them with electrical suppliers who have a legal obligation to surrender them to the clean energy regulator. Homeowners can choose to assign the rights of their STCs to agents like the team here at Queensland Solar Solutions, allowing us to offer further discounts on your solar system.

For more information about how this scheme operates, contact one of our expert solar consultants, or head to www.cleanenergyregulator.gov.au.

Feed-in Tariffs

Feed-in Tariffs (FiT) offer financial incentive to invest in solar power. When you have a grid-connected or hybrid solar system installed in your home, you can reduce the amount of time it takes to recoup the cost of your investment by feeding your excess power production back into the main grid.

Individual residences can profit by trading this excess power with their energy provider in the form of energy bill credit, or direct payment depending on your energy providers policies.

There are no nationally regulated FiT schemes in Australia, so tariff rates and eligibility can vary from state to state. Your FiT prices are consequently variable based on factors such as:

After your solar system is installed, you may submit an application to the relevant energy provider or authority in your state for your FiT. For more comprehensive information about how this system works, contact our helpful solar consultants or head to www.energy.gov.au.

The team strive to provide industry-leading solar products and services nationwide to Australian households and private property owners.

Our consultants, technicians and installers strive to offer diverse solar solutions while delivering excellent customer experience and comprehensive after-sale support.
